Moses Lake.

Last week Ryan called Jared and told him that we needed to come up to Moses Lake and hang out. I totally agreed with him....so Thursday we packed up the car and headed up for the weekend. Let's just say it was Jared's Valentines day gift to me....the perfect gift....a weekend just relaxing with my hubby off work and my family around. I love that. So I have to say the my boys did awesome driving to and from Washington. We set up the DVD player for Boston so other than a few stops on the side of the road to pee (the perks of having little boys) we were golden. Tayden just chilled out in the back and when he got hungry I would just pump a bottle and hop in the back and feed it to him. It worked out great. I think this was his first real road trip so I have to say that I was very impressed.
When we got there we suprised my mom cause we told her we weren't going to be in till really late....I love doing that to her. I love that she gets so excited to see us....especially cause I am always so excited to see them. Anyway we did homemade pizzas on Thursday and then Nena had Boston stay the night with the boys at her house. THANK YOU NENA. She is always so sweet and willing to take my kids even though she already has her hands full with her own. So that was nice not having to get Boston to bed or anything like that for the night. Plus the first thing Boston said when we got there was, "I don't wanna go home..." He had a total blast playing with all the boys. Then Friday we watched all the kids until we headed up to Birchfield Manor for a really nice dinner that night. Uncle Pat watched Boston for me that night (THANKS) and we just took little Tayden with us. It was so much fun. The food was amazing....I had steak diane (melted in my mouth) and Jared had rack of lamb. Everything was so good and my sweet brother treated us to it. Then Saturday we all hung out....watched a movie and did homemade french fries and steak. Oh and then since we already had the deep fryers out we attempted to do our own fried snickers bars. They turned out ok, but we just couldn't quite get the batter to the right consistancy. It was a good attempt though. Sunday we got up and my mom made us some delicious omlettes for breakfast....we went to sacramaent and then went to Ryan and Nena's for French toast before we hit the road. It was such a fun weekend. I love the time I get with my family and I actually really like that time on the road with Jared to just sit and talk about anything and everything. Jared had a really bad week....some major disappointments for him, but I am waiting for him to post about it. I know that everything happens for a reason though and we just can't see why right now. He will fill you in. Other than that we are home now....back to everyday life. I will post some pictures from the weekend when I am home tomorrow.
