I'm Annoyed.

So Halloween is coming up and I am becoming more and more irritated the more I try and think of what my boys should dress up as. You see when I was young enough to go trick-or-treating my parents always made us make our own costumes...or borrow them. We NEVER spent money on costumes. Well I am annoyed because Boston is old enough now that he has some what of an opinion as to what he wants to be, and it bugs me that a stupid little nylon hero costume like spiderman or superman will cost me twenty bucks for him to wear it for one night! What the heck...then on top of that I feel like I have to coordinate Tayden's costume to Bostons some how. Ugh....I don't know what to do. I thought that I would let Boston be Mr. Incredible and just buy the costume (for 20.00) and make Tayden a Jack Jack costume....but walmart doesn't even have the right colors of felt material. So then I thought I would let Boston be Buzz Lightyear and make Tayden Woody since I have the cowboy costume from Boston's 2nd halloween but I can't even get myself to pay the 20.00 bucks for that one either. Maybe I am being way too cheap and I just need to let Boston pick one...Although I still would have to come up with something for Tayden....lame....I don't know what do you think?

I stress too about halloween. It is silly, but I do it every year. I have been looking for a cowboy costume for ethan. No luck for me but I have noticed some of the incredibles costumes and buzz light year on craigslist for 5 or 10 bucks. Check it out maybe there is something there as for me keep your eyes open.

You know what I love...P.J.'s!! They aren't the fanciest of costumes, but you get the idea and they also get to use them at night time for bed. Add a little face paint, hat or mask and the super hero is in the bag.

I am going through the same thing. Marlee is gonna be a wWirch (original huh?) and Collin won't let me buy a costume for Kenna, he thinks it's a waste...I'm stucK!

Myca...you can get disney store costumes on disneydirect.com and they go on sale for like 14 dollars and they are sooooo nice. So fancy...your kids would be able to play with them forever.

My parents were definitely the same! And when the kids are old enough to fend for themselves youbetter bet I will do the same. Fo now though. Disney has great sales a few days before halloween, you just have to be flexible on what they will be going in depending on size availability. If only we lived closer! i have woody, and a cute pea pod, a tiger, a lion, etc....
