Thanksgiving.

Sigh....we are home and had such a good time for the Thanksgiving weekend. We drove to Moses on Wednesday and went straight to Ryan and Nena's house for dinner and a movie. We watched Get Smart and it was actually really funny. It was nice too cause I just put both my boys to bed at their house so we could stay late and watch the show. I kept telling Nena that when we left to call me in the morning as soon as Tayden woke up and I would come and get him....of course she didn't and I got to sleep in. Isn't that sweet? I can't remember the last time I slept in that late either....we all are fighting head colds so it was nice to get a little extra. Anyway than Thursday we got up and had an awesome feast over and David and Peggy's. We had a pretty small group, but it was actually really enjoyable. Alysha and Brandon surprised us later that evening and got to come and stay for the weekend as well. I always love when we have almost our whole group together.(we missed Collin and Mandi). The rest of the weekend we watched good movies and vegged out. We watched hancock...which I loved, and us girls went and saw Twilight again for my mom....I loved it the second time around too. We celebrated Tayden's birthday on Friday. It wasn't a huge deal, but he was so cute with his cake. He went face first for it...instead of grabbing it with his hands he bent over like it was a pie eating contest or something....so funny. Grandma
Earl made him a sweet quilt and we got him some toys for the bathtub since he loves his bath time so much. Saturday us girls went to Danielle Andre's (I think that's her new last name) baby shower. It was fun to see all the girls I used to teach for, but as always it made me miss everyone...dancing... and it made me feel really old. I just can't believe all these girls are in high school now....I swear I remember them being so little. Ahhh...anyway here are a few pictures from the weekend.
Nena at Thanksgiving dinner....doing one of her many talents....candid photos.....
Oh yeah get it Ryan! Yummy....so good.

Aren't these girls just so adorable. How can there be so many cute girls from one family?
Tayden's Birthday shots....he was so funny....not so sure at first and then he went for it.

I almost forgot one thing....when I picked Boston up from preschool on Tuesday they had made these cute little turkeys out of pumpkins and around the turkey's neck was a little list of what Boston had said he was thankful for. It was as follows...
1. My mom and dad.
2.Watching TV with my mom and dad.
3.Food to eat.
4.Eating breakfast.
5.My house.
6.Books.
7.Tayden.
8.Thanksgiving.
I thought his list was pretty cute and really funny....you can see what he is really thankful for....definitely the necessities.

It was so fun to see you. You may feel old, but you don't look it! You could still pass for a high school student - just don't bring your kids! You are so gorgeous and your boys are adorable. Thanks for sharing the holiday with us!

I Laughed out loud at that picture of Tayden Face down in the cake! So funny! I'm so glad you guys came this weekend, I loved having the boys stay over night, Tayden was so funny walking around our house all morning,(We haven't had a baby for a while so it was fun!) Boston waking me up at night I loved it all! I wouldn't change a thing! I love how our boys play together and can't wait to watch them grow and do fun "boy" trips with their dads.
Mostly I want you to know I enjoyed hanging out with you, mom and Lysha. it was a good Thanksgiving! (all we were missing was was Collin and Mandi! maybe next year???) Love you both and kiss those boys for me-n

Sounds like so much fun! Did you get my message on Tayden's b-day? We were thinking about him. I hate missing out on all the family stuff. I hope we can come next year for Christmas maybe..? We'll have to see if Lysh can save us some passes so we can come out before Kenna turns 2 and needs one. Anyway, the pics are great. We miss you. Glad you guys had fun!
Oh, and I am jealous you got to go see Twilight again!

Tayden's cake eating reminds me of that scene in "A Christmas Story" where she tells her son to eat his dinner like a little piggy. hehe.
Wish we could have caught you in ML.
