My Poor Husband.

The past two nights Jared has had horrible stomach episodes again. It is so frustrating. He has been taking the medication they recommended to treat the ulcer (what they think he has) and he went about 3 weeks without any episodes. I am beginning to think that it isn't an ulcer causing the problem and that it is actually his gallbladder (and his huge gall stone) causing his problems. Now that we have paid a little closer attention to when his episodes actually take place and the symptoms involved I swear that has to be it. It is so hard not knowing for sure though. So we don't really know what to do. I told Jared that I will prepare every single meal for him and cook him healthy low fat meals every single day if I have to to see if that helps (gall bladder attacks are brought on by high fat foods...the ones that my husband LOVES). I just want him to feel better. So I guess heres to healthy cooking...I don't know what else to do. Should we go see another doctor? I just don't know...

What are the episodes like? I had my gall bladder out a few weeks before my wedding! It was the best decision I ever made cause my stomach problems were GONE! And man if he is feeling anything like how I was, its not worth it, just get the surgery and get it out! Its quick day surgery and quick recovery (only a few days). Tell Jared to call or text me if he wants to know anymore about it. I hope he feels better!

oh man that sucks! My bff had all these same symptoms and was misdiagnosed with pancreatitis and gall bladder issues forever. Finally they realized it was something called intussusception (when the intestine sort of inverts on itself) and its very rare in adults which is why it gets missed so often. I think they diagnosed it with an upper GI series. I think thats the best diagnostic test you can do to see whats really going on. Id get him in for one of those since the meds arent helping! poor guy :) Nothing is worse than a forced weigh loss program!

My grandpa gets gallbladder stones. When he feels one coming on he drinks 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar heated up with honey and lemon for taste. It really does work.
