Our Saving GRACE.

So exactly one week ago I finally went over and met our neighbors who live behind us. They have been there for a while...but you know, you get busy and wrapped up in your own stuff. Anyway I had been meaning to go over there for a while, but just didn't. Well I am so glad I finally met them. Grace is the mother/wife of the home. She is a sweet little filipino. Jimmy is her husband and he is chinese. They have three kids...two of which live at home with them now. They are about high school age. Oh and I can't forget Tito Alan...their adopted uncle. He is filipino also and is missing pretty much all of his teeth because he used to be a boxer....and I think from what she has told me they basically adopted him into their home when they lived in florida. She hired him to cook for them and then he just ended up staying....he moved with them to Boise and it seems like he pretty much cooks all day and does whatever work is needed around the house and in the yard. Anyway the point of my story is that they are the sweetest people. When I met Grace she was so funny...she was like (imagine in a little asian accent) "oh we feed you....any time you smell food....you come over and we feed you....or I just bring it to your back door." Well she wasn't kidding. In the week that we have known them they have brought us eggrolls three different times, chow mein noodles, asian coconut chicken and rice, and corn chicken soup. This is the REAl stuff too. Homemade asian food. Yummy....anyway I had to share...I think I will go have myself an eggroll right now. :)

that is freakin' awesome. So, does she speak Tagalog? Collin would be SO pumped if he could rap with your neighbors when we come visit!

Wow! That is so nice. I wish I had someone to cook for me :) It would beat the cold cereal I've been living on for months now.

Jealous! I want Grace...

YOu have inspired me, I now want to go meet my neighbors. Except for the house that I'm pretty sure is selling drugs. I'm not sure I want the food they would bring over...
