Las Vegas.

Ok so I am finally getting around to posting abour our trip to Vegas. It really turned out to be a fun trip. We literally didn't step foot on the strip or even go out and see a show or anything like that...it was just a lot of family bonding time....which was great and really overdue. We drove through the night Wednesday night...I thought it wouldn't be too bad because it is my switch over day so I thought I would just crash and sleep the whole way...well I was totally wrong. I couldn't really get comfortable (imagine that) so I practically stayed awake the entire drive. I think I finally fell asleep the last 2 hours of the 10 hour drive....yikes. We got in at like 5 am and crashed at Grandma and Grandpa's until like 10:30 or so in the morning. That day we took our time getting up and getting ready...Grandma Cathy had yummy hot breakfast waiting for us...she is such a great host...and then we made plans to meet Kacey and Jon at In and Out for lunch. When we met up with them it was great to just sit and visit without any kids (Jon and Kacey were able to leave their kiddos at home too.) I think we were there for a couple hours and I still wasn't really ready to say bye when we had to take off. I swear I could sit and talk with Kacey (and jon for that matter) for hours. I love that girl. It was so good to see them. The rest of the day was just family stuff...which included a trip to an all you can eat buffet. You can't go to Vegas and not eat at a buffet right? At least according to my husband you can't. :)
The rest of the weekend we met up with all the family in town and got to visit and catch up on all the happenings...We loved staying at Grandma and Grandpas house. It was the perfect location. I think we stayed up till 2 am every single night which was not good for me at all (and my sinus infection that I still have 3 weeks later), but I just didn't want to miss out on any time with everyone. We really love and miss all our Vegas family already!
So here are a few pictures...they are all out of order and I just have to say in advance that I was hesitant to post any pictures with me in them because I look huge. I swear the second my body hit that Vegas heat I swelled up like a little balloon. I am not exaggerating...I was so swollen that when I got home from the drive on Sunday my work shoes felt so tight on my feet. Yikes.

Oh and I almost forgot to mention that I came home to a very sick Boston with a fever of 102 and him throwing up. I felt so bad that I had to go to work that night...he just really needed his mommy. Right when we got home he started crying and was so emotional. I felt so bad...
