Changes.

We have had some major unexpected answers to our prayers. Jared was transfered to a new unit a few months ago that would keep him from getting deployed. We felt so blessed that we wouldn't have to worry about him leaving anymore. Recently they came to him and basically said that if he wanted to stay in the unit that they wanted him to apply for an active duty position (basically a full time job). So in order to keep from getting transfered back to his old unit he applied and got the position. Even though this isnt where he sees himself for the rest of his career, this job is a huge blessing in so many ways. He gets to quit costco, his pay will be comparable to what I make so that means I can go to part time (yay), the benefits are AMAZING...like 100% covered as if he were deployed, the hours are normal day hours and will still allow for him to put time into his business, and this time will contribute to his military retirement. I feel so blessed and like this is a step in the right direction for us. We have been praying for a change in our situation that would allow me to be home more with the kids and be a mom, and allow Jared to take the lead as the bread winner in our home. I know this is an answer to those prayers. Now we are just working out the logistics of my job and my hours. Things have been a little crazy with that aspect of it, but I have faith that it will all fall into place and whatever is best for our family will happen. I am feeling very blessed.

This picture was from the other morning when I got off work. I tried to sneak into bed before all the kids were up and about. I was so tired. Yeah...that lasted about two seconds before all the kids were up in the bed with me. I love my children. This is happiness to me.
