Accept the facts....

Ok so I am way past getting upset or frustrated anymore. I have come to terms with the fact that Tayden is just not ready to come yet. He must need a little more time. I went to my appointment today expecting that there would be some changes....even if they were little....at least some changes. Oh well I was wrong. I am still 2 cm. dilated, and about 90% effaced. I spent the last week walking as much as I possibly could....taking 5 flights of stairs both up and down at least 5 times every night at work.....and spent a lot of "quality time" with my hubby (the only good thing about this last week as prescribed by the dr.) So I have accepted the fact that this child will come whenever he is ready....which is obviously not this week. We have a date set to induce....the 30th. Yeah not even the 29th now since my dr.'s call schedule changed, but I want Jared to be able to be there for everything. So my patiences is obviously being tested. I get it.

On a good note....some of my family is here for thanksgiving. It should be a fun weekend. I will post later on the events of our weekend together. I love when my family is here.

It is very hard to accept the fact sometimes. I feel for you! Having a fun Thanksgiving weekend will help the time pass. Unfortunately, we can't plan everything. Remember, Elsie came three weeks early (the day I was driving down to UT anyway) and I missed her birth by just a few hours. Not how I had it planned!

I am glad you are so positive about it. Being less stressed will hopefully make it easier to handle. You are SO close! Enjoy that "quality time"...we have been on "pelvic rest" for 4 weeks now. HA. Anyway we are SO excited to see pictures. It'll be soon!
