I Tried...
I did my best to try and keep Tayden nursing as long as I could....but I think he has officially weaned himself. I thought that I was ok with it, but the more I think about it the more I feel a little sad...I don't know why this is so hard for me...I know it's really not a big deal. Anyway he would kinda do ok when I would try and nurse him at home...where there is no distractions and I could feed him before he was starving. The real problem came when we were anywhere but home. He wouldn't even latch on anymore. He would just cry and throw his head back and try to pull the blanket off. So last night when we were over at Frogley's for dinner I tried to nurse him and he freaked out....crying, arching his back, and pulling at the blanket. When I finally got him to latch on...he bit me...HARD....twice. And if you can recall he has two bottom teeth now...so that felt awesome. So I guess he is done....I tried as long as I could....

man nursing is so hormonal. That is all...two weeks from now you will think...man thank goodness I am not nursing anymore. Our bodies make us think we want to nurse but in reality it is mostly just hormones.
I think that the bite is the clue that you are done.......Corbin standing on his head was Gail's clue that she was done!
I will take full responsibility in treating and helping reach a full recovery of the BOOBIES!
Well you could try to have another one...then you could fulfill that "need to nurse"...but I have to agree with the "hormonal" comment. You'll be over it soon.
Sorry, that sucks. You tried, so don't feel bad. He is obviously doing just fine without. Little stinker! You guys gonna make it back up to Moses in a few weeks?
